About

Hey, I’m glad you’re here.
Grab a coffee and sit with me while I tell you about myself.
I’m a farmer, a former Marine, wife of 44 years to my partner in crime, mama of three grown children, and these days, Gigi to 10 amazing grandchildren!I’ve lived a lot of life.I spent some of my younger years as a Marine, and that season taught me a few things I still carry with me today: how to work hard, how to be prepared, how to keep putting one foot in front of the other when things get tough, and most importantly, how to stay steady when the situation around you isn’t.Then came motherhood. For 20 years, I homeschooled our children. There were good days and hard days, muddy shoes, big questions, little victories, and plenty of moments when I wondered if I was doing any of it right. Looking back, I wouldn’t trade those years for anything. And then there’s farm life. The farm has a way of keeping you humble. Things don’t always go according to plan. You learn to work hard, pay attention, get your hands dirty, and trust the Lord with the things you can’t control. You learn about seasons. You learn that you can’t pull on a plant and make it grow faster. And you learn that some of the most beautiful things come from a process that is messy, uncomfortable, and completely out of your hands. That’s a lot of what I see in birth.Birth is hard work. It can be messy. It can stretch you in ways you never knew you could be stretched. But there is also something incredibly sacred about it—the moment a woman crosses that threshold and meets the baby she has carried.I believe God is in those moments. My faith in Jesus is the foundation of who I am and how I serve. I believe He created women with wisdom, strength, and purpose, and I don’t take lightly the privilege of walking beside a woman during such a tender and powerful season.I’m not the woman who has all the answers, and I certainly don’t believe there is one right way for every woman to give birth. But I’ve lived enough life to know the value of having someone beside you who isn’t afraid of a little hard work.Someone who will stay.Someone who will listen.Someone who knows how to keep a cool head when things get hard.Someone who will pray with you, laugh with you, cry with you, and hold your hand when you need it.That’s the kind of birthkeeper I want to be.So pull up a chair, friend. Take a deep breath. You don’t have to have it all figured out yet. We’ll take it one step, one breath, and one season at a time. And I’d be honored to walk that road with you.
